What is the difference between a lead, an anonymous visitor and a prospect?

Visit or anonymous visitor: an anonymous or unidentified visitor is a person who has visited your website or opened one of your emails, but cannot be traced to a specific person. You will have only generic information on this lead, such as the company the lead belongs to, the lead source etc.

Lead: a lead is a person who has expressed an interest in your product or service following a visit to your website. This person is a potential customer.

Prospect: A prospect is a lead that you have targeted as a highly likely customer. 


To view your anonymous visitors, leads and prospects:

1. Click on the Lead Management tab in the top menu.
2. Select Leads/Customers or Anonymous Visitors.
