List Management (merge lead lists)

Merge lead lists

We can merge lead lists in two ways:

By going to the List Management tab from the Leads menu, and then under Leads / Customers (not applicable on filtered lists)

By creating an automated campaign on an empty list (applicable on filtered lists)

 

Merge lists from the List management tab (not applicable on the filtered lists)

  1. Select Leads, then Leads/Customers.

 


2. Select List management.

3. Choose Merge lists.

     

 

4. Select the lists to be merged.

5. Click Merge.


    

 

The screen below appears.


6. Name the new list* and click OK. Your new list is now created.

  

Merge lists by creating an automated campaign on an empty list (applicable on filtered lists)

First step

  1. Select Leads, then Leads/Customers.

2. Select List Management.

3. Click Add.

The screen below appears.

 4. Choose the Create an empty list option.

The screen below appears.


         5. Name* the list. Click Save.


  

  6. The list is now created.

 

Second step

 7. Select Campaigns, then Configure automation campaign.


   

 

The screen below appears.

                    

          8. Click Add.

The screen below appears.

  

        9.   Enter the Name of the campaign*, enter a Category* (in this example, Direct). Click Next.

The screen below appears.     

  

      10. Choose the option on which your campaign will be executed. In this example,  choose Lists.

       11.  Select the lists to merge. Click Next.

 

Third step

12. Select Automation

                  

 

13. Choose the Add to list (X) activity and slide it to the left on start.

     

 Fourth step

14. The Details items automation box appears. Choose the empty list that you just created in the drop- down menu.

  

 

 

 15. Click OK.

     

      

 

Fifth step

16. Return to the Details tab. Click Activate.



     

A new list called, Test Empty List, will be created from your "bp_aa_3" and "ecc" lists which were chosen for the merger. Note that this function takes a picture of your filtered list at the start of a campaign and creates a static list. The new merged list will not take into account the dynamic side of a filtered list.
